Yorkshire Terrier Day Recognized by TheWoofBookGroup.com

One of America’s most popular breeds, especially with city dwellers, these compact, toy sized terriers are affectionate and feisty, with loads of personality.

Even though “Yorkies” as they are affectionately called, display a fine glossy, floor length coat which more closely resembles human hair than the usual canine coat, they are anything but dainty in nature. These little terriers are brave, tenacious and sometimes bossy.
