Kyoto Palace, a Japanese steakhouse in Campbell, California, has made two big announcements. First they have launched a brand new website detailing and highlighting their restaurant. Second, they have introduced their April Specials, that include their various offers on Japanese food.

"Japanese food is gaining in popularity in Campbell," explains Dale Yoshihara from Kyoto Palace. "While one of our strengths is the fact that we are traditional in our recipes and methods of cooking, we did feel that it was time to join the 21st century and build a brand new website created by LMB Media Group which better reflects our standards. To launch it properly, we have also announced our new April specials at the same time."

The April specials really look tempting and appetizing. They offer the "Hana," which is the Japanese word for flower, at a $29.95 dinner rate, or a discounted $19.95 rate for lunch. The menu includes shrimp, New York steak or calamari. It also comes with soup, hibachi vegetables, entree, salad and steamed rice. There is also a Happy Hour Special this month, whereby various sharing platters are available at prices starting as low as $4.  And they have Wednesday night Karaoke. During this time, customers can enjoy food, music and great entertainment at the same time, while enjoying some Sake and sushi as well.

Kyoto Palace has partnered with Valpak to provide regular coupons for further special offers. The new website links straight to the Valpak information. Hence, whenever someone considers eating at Kyoto Palace, they are recommended to first visit the website and see if there are any coupons available to use in the restaurant itself.

"We want to make sure that new customers are attracted to our restaurant," added Dale Yoshihara. "However, we also want to be different in as such that we do not solely have special offers for those who visit us for the first time. This is why we have made clear links between ourselves and online coupons, so that anybody is able to find them with ease."

The new website looks clean and does indeed speak of Japan. The site is simplistic and nearly minimalistic, in the same way as would be expected of a traditional Zen Japanese house. It also includes all relevant information on the menu, the specials, the full menu, banqueting options, events and more. Interestingly, it also contains a full blog with useful information on the restaurant, Japan in general and etiquette.

Their most recent blog posting, for instance, is on etiquette during happy hour. In our country, Happy Hour is mainly a way of drinking as much as possible as quickly as possible for as little money as possible. This is not really the Japanese way. Indeed, they prefer it if people pace themselves and enjoy what they have actually ordered. Additionally, they want every visitor to respect the choices of any other visitor. Similarly, it is about knowing when enough is enough.
