iProvèn is a company known for its extensive range of at home medical devices, and particularly their range of thermometers. They have recently announced the launch of their latest thermometer, the TMT-215 triple mode thermometer, which is now available on Amazon. The new thermometer has a number of interesting features, including its unique fever indicator.
"The TMT-215 will help the parent to immediately interpret the temperature as shown on the display," explains a spokesperson for iProvèn. "The display will light up green if the temperature is normal and light up red if a fever is present. And if the display is red, the parent may then take a look at the manual to see what can be done if the baby has a fever or if action needs to be taken."
As indicated on iProvèn's website, the red/green temperature display is incredibly beneficial as it gives a quick visual indication of a child's temperature. Additionally, the display is backlit, which means that you don't need to turn on the lights, which could disturb the sleeping child. The spokesperson continues: "Nothing is more important than sleep when someone is ill. This is why we have chosen to provide a backlit display, and why we have also included the mute function in our new thermometer."
The mute function enables parents to prevent the thermometer from emitting its usual beep after taking a temperature measurement. While all of iProvèn's other thermometers come with an audible sound that is so soft, most people will be able to sleep straight through it, the TMT-215 is the first to have a completely silent function as well. Babies, in particular, are incredibly light sleepers and seem to wake up with the slightest sound, which can now be avoided.
The new thermometer is also available on Amazon. Here, it joins the array of other thermometers (dual function, oral and rectal, and basal body temperature) that the company has already developed and launched. Additionally, iProvèn offers ovulation and pregnancy kits, as well as a blood pressure monitor.
The TMT-215 is the most advanced thermometer offered by the company yet, being fitted with triple function. Not only does it take in ear and forehead temperature measurements, it can also read the ambient temperature, such as a baby's milk bottle to ensure that it is not too hot.
