Valencia, California: Promeza announces the fourth annual Convencion de Adoradores (CDA) worship convention. Worship teams from around the country will be flying in for the September 25 and 26 two-day convention. This year the convention will be held at Church on The Way in Van Nuys California.
“We had the privilege of hosting worship teams and representatives from seven different states and three different countries”, stated Betty Meza director of CDA. “There is no other place where worship and praise teams from different Christian denominations can come together, meet and receive training. Whether you are the worship pastor, director, singer, band member or the sound engineer, we have special classes to answer your question and enhance your praise and worship experience.”
Convencion de Adoradores 2015 is a two-day convention composed of several tracts where members can pick and choose which they would like to attend. A special tract has been set up for senior pastors as well where topics such as what to look for in a worship director, how to better communicate with your director and how to overall enhance your congregations worship experience will be covered.
“We will not just be teaching theory but will also have a live worship experience in the general assembly where all the worship teams will meet and put into practice what has been learned," stated Meza. "Industry leaders will be heading up the tracts as well as the general assemblies. This year our attendees will benefit from the direction of Miel San Marcos, Danilo Montero, Jacobo Ramos, Pochy Garcia, Lucia Parker, Randy Aldward and House of Praise just to name a few.”
Early bird specials and group discounts are available at the www.convenciondeadoradores.com site. There are partnering hotels that are working with the convention to assist with lodging but have historically always been completely booked out weeks in advance. Seats are limited, and CDA recommends that worship teams make reservation early.
