Sean Broihier, CEO and founder of Fine Art America (FAA), announces the biggest product expansion in the history of FAA. Spearheading this expansion is FAA’s sister site, Pixels.com. “This is the birth of the most powerful t-shirt selling platform in the world,” stated Broihier.
“This is big!” echoed Cortney Herron, FAA Business Development. She further explained that the new apparel engine at Pixels will allow artists the ability to configure their clothing products to look exactly as they wish buyers to see them.
“I am honored to have been chosen by Sean and Fine Art America to beta test the unique apparel functionality developed for Pixels,” said artist Nikki Smith. “I have been searching for a way to encourage my patrons by supporting their individual creativity. I want my fans to have the freedom to express their inner passions via utilizing my art as part of their personal style. And I feel I can do that now via the new feature at Pixels.”
As a winner of the FAA International “Tony” Award for art, it is not too surprising that Smith was among the few elite artists chosen to try out the novel apparel engine. In an online artists community with 100,000+ artists and a growing collection of over nine million pieces of artwork at FAA, Smith’s works regularly earn top spots in the best sellers listing. Her most popular work, Guitar Siren, is currently holding third position at both FAA and Pixels.
Renowned NY artist Christina Rollo stated, "Nikki's music series is highly creative, positively upbeat and artistic, with her own unique style. I continue to be inspired by Nikki's work."
Enlivened by her test of Pixel's new apparel engine, Smith announces “Muses de Moderna” - a campaign launching her new line of artistic apparel and home décor products featuring her artwork in partnership with Pixels.
The collection encompasses a diverse line of wearable artwork inspired by the artist’s many muses: music, color, motion, and innovation. The product line includes men’s and women’s t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, slim fit t-shirts, junior’s shirts and more. These new items join an existing collection of home décor products - canvas prints, framed art, metal and acrylic wall art, duvet covers, pillows, shower curtains, tote bags, and phone accessories.
“Fashion and art should be as individual as you are; a reflection of who you are and what you love,” Smith says. “My product line offers art lovers a chance to bring art into their daily lives and share their unique style.”
Pixels.com prints each item at the time of order ensuring that each piece is tailored to the individual, not mass-produced. This process frees artists from the need to stock inventory and therefore allows consumers to select from an artist’s full line of artwork. Both consumers and artists benefit as artists are able to take creative risks and push their art to new levels.
"[Smith's] art makes a significant impression - that is to say [her] style is instantly recognizable - beautiful!" said artist and collector Carmen Hathaway of Canada.
Patrons from around the world can now order apparel, wall art and home décor items from http://GuitarSiren.com.
