Fort Lauderdale, FL—The Source Treatment Center has recently received the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) certification. The National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) is a nonprofit that strives to help people recover from addiction by giving them access to excellent recovery residences that are held to their strict Code of Ethics. NARR focuses on promoting evidence-based practices in recovery residences to ensure quality care is being provided. The Florida Association of Recovery Residences was developed to evaluate and oversee the care provided by addiction treatment centers in Florida. In order to receive this certification, alcohol and drug rehab centers must adhere to their standards and allow for monitoring of how their facility is run.
Receiving this certification puts The Source Addiction Treatment Centers’ already phenomenal care on another level. Being an approved FARR recovery residence helps to further convey to the public that The Source operates with integrity and is intentional in the implementation of its policies and procedures. The Source provides safe, beautiful housing where clients feel welcomed and supported throughout their time there. Another important standard is ensuring the facility is protecting the rights of their clients, including protecting their privacy, allowing patients to advocate for themselves, and communicating any changes that may affect them.
FARR also requires their certified treatment centers to be recovery-oriented, meaning clients are treated holistically so they can thrive in a life of recovery. In order to promote health, The Source provides a variety of treatment modalities, mentorship programs, and community-based support. Their experienced, licensed clinicians work with clients to develop treatment plans that are individualized and based on each person’s unique experiences. Community engagement is important to both The Source and FARR, so maintaining a good report in the community has helped spread their mission throughout Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties. Clients at The Source can enjoy fun outings to the beautiful surrounding beaches and are encouraged to attend local 12 step meetings.
The Source’s dedication to receiving certifications speaks to their ongoing efforts to provide the best possible alcohol & drug rehab care to their clients. Their welcoming, compassionate atmosphere is the ideal place to grow and learn the skills clients need to succeed in recovery.
