Bloomington, Minnesota -

Chu Vision Institute, a premier vision correction center in the Twin Cities area, has recently published a blog post titled, “Our Location – Minneapolis,” which explains why they opted for Minneapolis as their location. This vision center, which offers the most FDA-approved vision correction procedures in Minnesota, is owned and operated by the prominent ophthalmologist Dr. Ralph Chu. The vision center is conveniently located in Bloomington to serve patients from across Minnesota and the US and offer them the most advanced methods in cataract surgery and vision correction procedures.

Chu Vision Institute is only 5 miles from the Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport, which allows easy access to patients coming from other places in Minnesota and throughout the country. And it is only 11 miles from downtown Minneapolis. The blog post also provides helpful information on what people can enjoy seeing with their improved vision in the Twin Cities area.

The city of Minneapolis, which is the county seat for Hennepin County, boasts of its 13 lakes, creeks, wetland, the Mississippi River, and waterfalls. Minneapolis is sometimes called “the city by nature” and has one of the biggest public park systems in the United States, with the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway linking many of these parks. Several places in the city are filled with parks and opportunities for recreation. There are several walking and biking paths, some of which trace old abandoned railroad tracks, such as the area surrounding Lake of the Isles, Bde Maka Ska, the Mill District in the Saint Anthony Falls Historic District, the area by Minnehaha Falls, and Lake Harriet.

Because of its hot summers and snowy winters, residents of Minneapolis enjoy the biking and hiking trails during the summer and the cross country ski trails during the winter. There is always something to do in Minneapolis, whether one prefers to walk, ride a bike, ski, visit farmers markets, art museums, cultural centers, or history museums.

At the Minneapolis Institute of Art, visitors can enjoy viewing some of the best and largest art collections in the US. One of the notable exhibitions is Art in Bloom, which is a four-day festival that combines new flower arrangements and fine art. Some of the genres represented in the shows range from contemporary to Korean and Japanese to sculpture, textiles, and decorative arts.

Meanwhile, millions of people have already visited the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden since its opening in 1988. On display are over 40 pieces from the Walker Art Center’s collections, including the renowned Spoonbridge and Cherry. This Garden, which is a result of the collaboration between the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board and the Walker Art Center, which is open from 6:00am to 12:00am every day, is a must-see tourist attraction for people of all ages.

There is also the Guthrie Theater, which presents both modern and classic plays as performed by their outstanding theater and performing arts professionals. The Guthrie building was designed by Pritzker prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel and has a 178-foot-long cantilever bridge overlooking the Mississippi River.

Minnehaha Park, which also overlooks the Mississippi River, is a 193-acre park that is one of the oldest and the most popular parks with more than 850,000 visits every year. It boasts of a 53-foot waterfall, river overlooks, and limestone buffs.

Launched in 1999 by Dr. Ralph Chu, the Chu Vision Institute is located in Bloomington, MN, and offers comprehensive vision correction services to residents of the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. They have a federally accredited ambulatory surgery center which provides the opportunity to have comprehensive surgical treatments that comply with the highest standards in sterilization, cleanliness, and safety. The services provided by the Chu Vision Institute include: custom cataract surgery; refractive surgery; corneal surgery; and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures.
