Experience Rest, Renewal and Romance at Deer Run's Fall Marriage Retreat Nov. 20-22

October 14, 2026

THOMPSON'S STATION, TN - October 14, 2026 -

Deer Run Camps & Retreats has announced its Fall Marriage Retreat, scheduled for November 20–22, 2026, at its retreat center near Franklin, Tennessee. The three-day event will feature workshops addressing marital communication, conflict management, and emotional needs, with sessions led by Billy and Yolanda Jackson of Live in Peace Ministries.

The retreat, titled "Stronger Together," is part of Deer Run's ongoing marriage enrichment programming. It is intended for couples at different stages of marriage and combines group instruction with scheduled activities and individual time for participants.

Billy and Yolanda Jackson established Live in Peace Ministries in 2016 to provide marriage and family education through seminars, workshops, and retreats. Their November sessions will address approaches to handling disagreements, understanding differences between spouses, and communicating emotional needs. The program will incorporate Christian teachings and discussion-based exercises.

The November schedule includes facilitator-led workshops, guided conversations, activities for couples, and time outside the scheduled sessions. Five meals will be provided during the weekend, beginning with dinner on Friday and concluding with breakfast on Sunday. A candlelit dinner is scheduled for Saturday evening.

Deer Run limits participation in each marriage retreat to 15 couples. According to the organization, the attendance limit is intended to accommodate small-group discussions and interaction among participants and facilitators.

The event will take place on Deer Run's 150-acre property at 3845 Perkins Road in Thompson's Station. Overnight accommodations are available in private rooms and suites at The Lodge at Deer Run and other designated lodging facilities on the property. The site also includes wooded trails, meeting areas, and spaces for outdoor activities.

Registration information is available through the organization's website. Participation is subject to the retreat's attendance limit and available accommodations.

Deer Run has also scheduled two marriage retreats for 2027. The Valentine Marriage Retreat, February 12–14, will feature Bruce and Marlina Martin of Invest Your Life Ministries and address communication and conflict resolution. The Springtime Marriage Retreat, March 19–21, will feature Lindsey Castleman and Aron Strong of inRelationship, with sessions examining interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, and biblical perspectives on relationships.

Deer Run Camps & Retreats is a nondenominational Christian camp and retreat organization serving families, couples, youth, and community groups. Its programs include summer camps, family events, marriage retreats, and customized group retreats. The organization operates outdoor recreation facilities, meeting spaces, and overnight accommodations on its property in Middle Tennessee.
