Gaffer Power Adds New Line of Colored Tape

GafferPower.com is proud to announce that it has just added a whole new line of colored gaffer tapes. There is a large demand for colored tape and we intend on adding as many colors as possible.” Fluorescent green is often used in the TV & Film world, particularly when using a green screen on set. The white tape is used for labeling camera gear and markings for actors. There is however, a growing use of gaffer tape outside of the world of entertainment.

"We get calls daily about gaffer tape," says Marty Gage. "All sorts of questions about its uses, what it can and can not do, what sort of adhesive it is. We’re always amazed at how creative our customers can get with gaffer tape; It’s like no other tape out there.”

Gaffer tape is growing quite popular the past few years, and has recently found its way into pop culture with Kim Kardashian revealing her use of gaffer tape as a ‘cleavage trick’.

"Yeah we got a few calls about that," Marty Gage says with a smile. "The fact that the tape doesn’t leave any sticky residue and can be easily removed is probably why she uses it. Hey, whatever works I guess."

While duct tape has taken the center stage for everyday household tape, Gaffer Power hopes that their gaffer tape can dominate the home based consumer.

"We’ll continue to inform, educate and show people what gaffer tape is all about…and maybe one day we can replace duct tape altogether!" says Gage.
