Seal Beach, Ca. – There are very few areas of the culinary world more unchanged than seasonings and spices. While the pantries of cooks throughout the world vary in the mixtures and proportions of seasonings and spices, the seasoning of meat, fish and poultry is basically the same as it has been for centuries. This changes via today’s introduction on Kickstarter of Seasoning Stixs, a culinary innovation so unique its already been awarded three U.S. patents.
Seasoning Stixs are encapsulated seasonings in the form of a “stick” which are inserted into meat, fish and poultry prior to cooking. Seasoning Stixs are a hard solid at room temperature, but as heat is applied, the sticks change from a solid into a liquid allowing the meat fibers to act like a sponge absorbing all the delicious flavors.
“Seasoning Stixs help the average cook to easily and deliciously season meat, fish and poultry in a manner never previously possible,” commented Katherine Zuniga, Founder of Seasoning Stixs International. With R&D and manufacturing testing completed, the Company is ready to begin production and expects to have Seasoning Stixs in the hands of backers in time for late summer barbeques and dinners with friends and family.
Ms. Zuniga continued, “A truly exciting aspect of this product is that virtually any combination of seasonings can be used to produce Seasoning Stixs, even currently available commercial seasoning blends. We believe this could provide many companies in the seasoning business new paths to growth.”
The Company will be make four blends of Seasoning Stix available for introduction on Kickstarter. Classic Garlic Blend made with Organic California Garlic, Backyard BBQ Blend, Herbs de Provence and Thai Peanut Satay. All are enhanced with a dash of organic white turmeric.
