Century Stone Dental offers Same Day Dentistry Services

Century Stone Dental would like to announce that starting in October of 2016, they will offer same day dentistry services. With the acquisition of a CEREC machine, they will now be able to administer same day crowns. This will enable patients to get their permanent crowns on the same day they have their teeth prepped. Previously, this process took anywhere from two or three weeks while they waited to get the crowns finished from the laboratory. By performing this process in house, they are able to provide clients with same day dental crowns, eliminating the need for a long process. Christopher Sims, DDS is excited to offer this new service to customers: “With this new technology, Century Stone Dental can make high-quality metal free crowns the same day. The patient is no longer required to wear a temporary crown and a second appointment is not necessary. It’s a truly remarkable technology and we are thrilled to be able to offer this service to our patients.”

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, or CEramic REConstruction. It is a method of CAD/CAM dentistry in which dentists are able to construct, produce, and insert individual ceramic restorations at the time and place of treatment. This helps to eliminate laboratory work that would typically need to be completed, and avoids delivery times as well, making the process seamless, fast, and convenient. With the introduction of 3D printing technology, these have become much more lucrative as products to be used in private and smaller practices.

By introducing the CEREC machine at their location, Century Stone Dental makes the dentist experience less stressful, time consuming, and frustrating by offering same day dentistry services. By making this process simple and immediate, they enhance the customer experience. They will be introducing these services in October of 2016, making the practice more smooth for all involved. This will save clients and Century Stone Dental on waiting times, making their time spent more productive.
