Louis Rinn, a California mortgage broker with Corum Financial is celebrating three decades in the financial industry. Rinn has a storied past beginning in Hungary. He made his escape from that country when under the tight grip of its communist government. He eventually made his way to Australia and was successful in the real estate market there.
Rinn later moved to California and has been working in the mortgage/financial field continually since. Currently located in Sherman Oaks, CA, Rinn continues to assist clients looking to buy a house or refinance. Most, however, are unaware of the twists and turns in his life that have brought him to where he is now.
“I truly enjoy the process of helping people,” says Rinn, “but there’s no substitute for being able to talk to a real person. And that’s me!” In a 21st Century world of automation Rinn’s website does streamline the application process, but he adds that being local gives him an edge over “faceless” mortgage companies.
Rinn says he’s looking forward to continuing on course, taking advantage of new marketing avenues like mobile apps, social media and search engines.
“I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction from [the business], and it’s always changing,” he adds, “but the greatest success I’ve had has been raising a wonderful family with my wife, Carol.”
