Behavioral Crossroads Director Doug Reichert Honored at Mental Health Association of New Jersey's 17th Annual Evening of Excellence

Behavioral Crossroads have a well-earned reputation of being New Jersey's premier substance abuse rehab center. In exciting news in that area, Program Director of the center Doug Reichert was recently awarded the Spotlight on Excellence in Addiction Services Certificate of Recognition at the 17th Annual Evening of Excellence sponsored by the Mental Health Association of New Jersey.

Many people would argue that there are few vocations more challenging or more rewarding than working in substance abuse rehab and mental health industry. Leading these efforts in New Jersey, with often remarkable success rates has been Egg Harbor Township-based Behavioral Crossroads rehab center. Recently, in recognition of their continuing good work, the Mental Health Association of New Jersey honored Behavioral Crossroads Program Director Doug Reichert with the very prestigious “Spotlight on Excellence in Addiction Services” certificate at the association's 17th Annual Evening of Excellence.

“We are very happy to see Doug's hard work recognized by his peers,” commented a spokesperson from Behavioral Crossroads. “We always look forward to the Evening of Excellence and our Program Director being awarded such an important certificate made this year's even more special.”

According to the center, Behavioral Crossroads provides a wide range of substance abuse and mental health related programs. Some highlights include: General Outpatient (GOP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient Detox, Mental Health, Partial Care and Sober Living programs.

The Mental Health Association of New Jersey mission is to strive for mental health for children and adults in their state through advocacy, education, training, and providing much needed mental health related services. Their Evening of Excellence is a yearly round up, where they take the time to honor those who have helped this mission in New Jersey, while also raising funds through a dinner and silent auction to help the association's work to continue.
