Status Transportation Plans Paperless Contracts

Status Transportation, a leading trucking company in the southern states,has launchedtheir new website, lsfreight.com, with a focus to improve customer services to owner operators.

The new website will be a one stop place for all news updates, contract details and tips on how owner operators can enjoy success while working with Status Transportation. The website’s first update was a welcoming message and a carefully crafted invitation aimed at letting owner operators know that the site will focus on their needs.

“Welcome to Status Transportation, where we are all about Trucking and satisfying our customers.” The site’s home page read. The site also plan to bring out owner operator’s forum, updates and ‘trucking tips’ page’ all of which are aimed at attracting all their owner operators login to the site and engage.

Erik Chavez, who is the company’s spokesperson, noted that the website will be updated on a regular basis and that most of the updates and information concerning owner operators will be communicated through the site.

“Status Transportation is focused on moving all their communications online, and launching this website is just one of the steps we have made. Lsfreight.com will be the central point for all our communications with our owner operators. Everything you need to know about the steps we have made in finalizing the FMCSA final rule for instance will be posted on the site. We shall are also be communicating to you about other important happenings in our company, and we hope you shall embrace the site as well.” Erik Chavez said.

Erik also added that the new site acts as the beginning for a paperless management and communication system at Status transportation. About the rumors of embracing paperless contracts with their external clients and the owner operators, he said, “We understand that using paperless contracts is the future of our industry, and we have setup a team to help us research more about the security and efficiency of this new technology. As soon as finalize our research, we shall update you accordingly.”

Most of the owner operators present at the meeting were thrilled at the idea of the website, and noted that it would greatly help them focus on their job without worrying about staying in the dark on matters to do with the company. The ‘owner operator’s forum’ category will be a surprise to the owner operators, and they felt that it will be one for the best things about the site.

“I can now connect, make more friends and earn money all at the same time,” Simon Oshea, who is an owner operator said while doing Status transportation reviews.

The company’s founder didn’t have much to say about the site. He however thanked everyone who had attended the launch and promised to invest as much as possible on the site so that it remained user friendly and keeps the stakeholders up-to-date.
