Recently, the company celebrated winning the 'Best Styled Look' award from Accent Décor Inc. in their #AccentDecorAfrica floral design contest.
2017 seems set to be a great year for leading Virginia and North Carolina wedding floral design and event styling company Honeysuckle Events. Backing up rave reviews by Brides from all over the Southeast, recent features from magazines and wedding-focused websites include Virginia Bride, Outer Banks Wedding, Fly Away Bride, The Frosted Petticoat and Boho Weddings. Honeysuckle Events recently announced they have won the hard-fought award for 'Best Styled Look' in the #AccentDecorAfrica Instagram Style Challenge. Along with the prestige that comes along with winning, the company also claimed a $1000 prize.
“I love doing styled shoots because it allows me to have total creative freedom; I have an idea and I run with it,” commented Shelley Boyer, owner of Honeysuckle Events. “I knew that I wanted to do several floral arrangements including a really large headdress, which I hadn't attempted yet. I also wanted to include some flowers that are native to Africa, so I started with protea, using the Banksia, Pincushion, and Queen varieties.”
According to the company, they are happy to offer a wide range of floral design and event styling services including popular highlights like garden style bridal bouquets, flower crowns, ceremony and reception decor, and even vintage rentals to help bring a couple's vision of the dream wedding to life.
