New Braunfels-based Comal Tubes plans a March, 2017 opening for its Guadalupe River Tubing firm. Seguin Tubes features a massive waterfall and an on-site restaurant with outdoor dining.
Seguin TX: A new Guadalupe river tubing location will be available to tubing fans, beginning in March, 2017. Seguin Tubes and owner Kristopher Bolstad are pleased to announce that the new business will permit tubers to float another beautiful river in Texas. Bolstad is the owner of Comal Tubes, the most popular river tubing outfitter in New Braunfels. Seguin Tubes is the new business which will be launched during Spring Break, 2017.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kristopher explained, “After the wild success of Comal Tubes, I want to give people the enjoyment of experiencing a tube trip on the beautiful Guadalupe River. Guadalupe River tubing has long been popular around Canyon Lake, but we feel that this new location is even more attractive to tubers. There is a massive waterfall, only a few feet upstream from where you enter the water. There is also a great restaurant right on site.
“There is outdoor dining available on the deck overlooking the falls,” he continues. “Visitors to the facility can choose to bring a picnic and eat at the tables along the river before or after the float. This year, we offer season passes which are good at both locations, when you come to float with us.”
Seguin offers the finest Guadalupe River tubing. As the only outfitter on this particular stretch of the Guadalupe, it is the perfect location for a serene float. There are no massive crowds such as will be present at the Canyon Lake tubing area, or even at a Comal River weekend. The conditions on this stretch of the Guadalupe are ideal for families with children. The average depth is three to four feet, so tubers needn't worry about scraping the bottom. It won't be necessary to stand and carry the tube. The waters are calm and flowing in order to provide fun for all.
