Massey, Stotser & Nichols, P.C., a law firm in Birmingham, Alabama, has reported that several of their attorneys were recently voted as Top Attorneys by Birmingham Magazine. A poll taken throughout the bar association named the three attorneys as top in their fields by their peers and the three will be featured in the April issue of Birmingham Magazine.
Attorney Randall W. Nichols has been named Top Attorney for Civil Litigation. Nichols is a senior partner at the firm and focuses on divorce cases. Divorce law is one area of the firm's overall focus, and this is not the first time that Nichols has been recognized for his achievements. Along with other attorneys in the firm that practice divorce and family law, Nichols has been known by his clients as being dedicated, knowledgeable and compassionate.

Attorney Stephanie Lanier Weems, who practices family law and civil litigation, has been named as Top Attorney for Collections. Weems is a member of a number of professional organizations and helps families who are dealing with divorce and separation. "It's a delicate time and I am dedicated to ensuring that families have the best possible chance at fairness throughout their ordeal," states Weems. She also represents fire districts and housing authorities in collection matters.
Attorney Kristin Sullivan was named Top Attorney for Trusts by Birmingham Magazine. Sullivan specializes in Elder Law, Probate, and Estate Planning.
Attorney Anne Lamkin Durward also recently was accepted into the International Academy of Family Lawyers as a Fellow.
Clients of the firm were not at all surprised by the awards given to the lawyers. Many state that the attorneys work with them as individuals rather than as cases, which they thoroughly appreciate.
