Big Fin Seafood Kitchen Recognized As Most Awarded Seafood Restaurant In Orlando

Big Fin Seafood Kitchen is a staple in the Orlando area. Recently, the seafood restaurant was named the most awarded among the seafood restaurants in Orlando, Florida, being the only establishment in the city to receive the Expedia Local Expert Restaurant of the Year award five years in a row. The restaurant has received the award for every year from 2013 to 2017.

Big Fin Seafood Kitchen opened in 2009 and is a family owned and operated establishment. Moore states that all of the seafood is fresh and prepared in the restaurant. The restaurant is known for its Big Fin Swordfish Filet Mignon and offers a full menu of steak and seafood as well as sushi and other fares.

"People tell us all the time that we have the best seafood in Orlando," says Moore. "Our aim is to offer our customers the freshest possible seafood and to ensure that their meal is everything they expect and more."

Moore began his restaurant ownership career in 1970 when he was only 20 years old. He opened an eatery in Detroit, eventually turning it into the Keg-A-Brew Saloon which became the most popular bar and grill in Eastside Detroit. He then opened Beluga in 2006 in Winter Park, Florida. Beluga was an upscale seafood restaurant that was chosen as the best new restaurant in Orlando in 2006 and awarded the best seafood restaurant award in 2007. Moore opened Big Fin Seafood Kitchen on December 1, 2009, designing and building the establishment with his partner John Bonner. The restaurant quickly become the most popular place for seafood in Orlando and has received numerous accolades and awards from various magazines and organizations.
