Connecticut Ford Dealer Crest Ford Of Niantic Will Sponsor Touch A Truck Event

Crest Ford of Niantic has announced that they are this year's gold corporate sponsor for the Touch A Truck event in East Lyme, CT. The company offers a number of new and used trucks for sale in CT and states that they are pleased to be sponsoring the upcoming family event.

"We look forward to seeing everyone there," says Jim Leva, dealer principle of Crest Ford of Niantic. "It's going to be a day filled with fun and excitement as well as food and fellowship."

The family event is set for Saturday, May 20, 2017 and will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCook Point Park in Niantic. It will include fire engines, food, photos, face painting and a number of things to keep children active and happy.

"There will be a paramedic van, police cruiser, and of course, one of our Ford trucks," says the Ford dealer in CT. "There will be so many trucks for children to explore. We expect them to love the activities, and once they've finished exploring all of the trucks, vans and other vehicles onsite, we've got other wonderful activities lined up for them."

Leva says that after exploring trucks, children will have the opportunity to participate in crafts and face painting or have a balloon animal made for them. A free photo shoot will be provided for families as well to help them commemorate the event. Throughout the day, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, and ice cream will be on sale. Donations will be $4 per person but children aged two and under to be admitted for free. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. The organization strives to help meet the needs of more than 17,000 children and their families in local communities every year.
