Justin Sycamore DDS offers information about their recent certification as a green business by the City of Thousand Oaks and the California Green business program. The dentist Thousand Oaks team will participate in a recognition ceremony on April 25.
Thousand Oaks CA: Justin Sycamore DDS, dentist Thousand Oaks practice is pleased to announce that the business has been certified as a “green” business by the City of Thousand Oaks and the California Green Business program. There will be a recognition ceremony at the Thousand Oaks City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will take place in the Scherr Forum in City Hall, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Parking is available in the parking structure or in spaces at the front of the building. The Scherr Forum is located to the right of the main entrance within the City Hall.
The City of Thousand Oaks Certified Green Businesses have demonstrated that they are distinguished from their competitors by adopting sustainable business practices. They show that going green can be good for the bottom line. Certified businesses have taken significant steps to reduce their environmental impact by implementing internal programs in the areas of energy conservation, water efficiency, waste reduction, pollution prevention and green purchasing.
The City is currently certifying small to medium-sized businesses in the office/retail, dental, garment cleaning, automotive, landscaping and restaurant/food service sectors, with additional sectors to be rolled out soon. The Thousand Oaks Certified Green Business Program is affiliated with the statewide California Green Business Network.
According to Dr. Justin Sycamore, “Our practice is new but we will treat you as if you have been a patient for years. Although I have been practicing dentistry for more than a decade, I opened my office in Thousand Oaks in the Fall of 2015. My goal was to create the ideal office for both cosmetic and general dentistry in an elegant and comfortable location. While I am known primarily as a cosmetic dentist, I also offer a wide variety of dental procedures including root canals, porcelain veneers, implants, and emergency services.”
