BitShares Announce Integration Of New SmartChain Technology Developed By Cryptonomex Inc

The BitShares development team has announced their biggest announcement since launching one year ago: the upgrade to BitShares 2.0 that utilizes a new technology called SmartChains, which is powered by the Graphene toolkit created by Blacksburg, Virginia based Cryptonomex Inc.

The team stated that "This is the next step in the evolution of BitShares, and incorporates all of the feedback and lessons learned from the BitShares stakeholders, partners, developers, marketers, and other community leaders throughout this past year of research and development" in a release dated June 8th, 2015 via their website.
