Phoenix Arizona - Dr. Trever Penny, owner of Penny Injury Chiropractic, announced today that all three chiropractors who practice at Penny Injury Chiropractic completed a grueling 150 hour certification course in Personal Injury. The certification course is administered by the American Academy of Motor Vehicle Injuries of Scottsdale Az.
Dr. Penny explained that his chiropractic practice is completely dedicated to the management and treatment of injuries sustained as a result of a car collision in the greater Phoenix area.
Dr. Penny stated that his chiropractic office is the first office in Phoenix to have all of its chiropractors to complete the 150 hour course concerning the treatment and management of car crash victims and their injuries. He further stated, “I am very proud of the commitment to excellence that our Doctors of Chiropractic have shown and commend them as they have changed their personal and professional schedules to attend these seminars.” At the end of each module, the doctors were required to pass a written exam demonstrating their mastery of that module. In the state of Arizona, a Doctor of Chiropractic is required to complete 12 hours of post graduate education for re-licensure each year and every other year they are required to complete 4 hours of medical documentation.
The educational staff at the above mentioned seminars included orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, diplomates in chiropractic orthopedics, neurologists, neurosurgeons, doctors of osteopathy, general surgeons, Juris doctorates, attorneys, podiatrists, Interventional Management specialists, and board certified radiologists.
Dr. Trever Penny explained that his doctors are slated to take a written comprehensive exam that covers the entire 150 hour coursework to receive their official certification. “Once we have obtained our 150 hour certification in Motor Vehicle Injuries, we will then move on to the next 210 hours required to obtain the status of diplomate. It is my intention to serve with excellence to anyone in the Phoenix area who has been wrongfully injured in a motor vehicle accident.”
