Tualatin, Ore. – This weekend marks the 70th annual Les Schwab Tires Bowl, a yearly football game in which high school athletes from North Oregon and South Oregon compete against each other. Express Employment Professionals, a staffing agency in Tualatin, OR, is presenting the event.
This year’s Les Schwab Bowl will feature the top graduating seniors from Oregon’s 6A and 5A high schools. Players from all over the state will be heading to Hillsboro to take part in the traditional game. When the players are not practicing, they will be taking part in community service projects in the days leading up to the game.
Express will be providing the Oregon Athletic Coaches Associations general scholarship fund as well as Oregon’s 5A and 6A schools with the proceeds from the event. The OACA represents more than 3,000 members and coaches across all of the OSAA approved sports.
The 2017 Les Schwab Tires Bowl will be held on Saturday, June 24th. Tickets can be purchased at www.LesSchwabBowl.com.
