Martelli Enterprises Announces Nomination Of Tommy Forrest As August's Quirky Quilter Angel

Martelli Enterprises, an international sewing company based in Pensacola, FL, encourages people to nominate a quilter each month. Specifically, they look for those people who quilt, but do so to better the community as a whole. The company has now announced that Tommy Forrest has been nominated as the Quirky Quilter Angel for August.

Marsha Martelli, owner of Martelli Enterprises, says: "We here at Martelli Enterprises want to show our greatest appreciation to these wonderful quilters by doing a monthly give a way for them. Each month we will choose a new Martelli Product to give a way and donate to a loving, hardworking quilter. We want to do something special for those who do so much for everyone else but not nearly enough for themselves. Please nominate someone you believe deserves our monthly give away and tell us a little about your special quilter and why you believe they deserve to receive it."

Tommy Forrest from Anderson, SC, was nominated by Anne Medlin. She said: "His most passionate thing is to wrap veterans with quilts of valor and he is always doing this-anytime, any place. He is dedicated and passionate about Quilts of Valor and he cares deeply about the approximately 60 ladies who are involved in this with him. He so deserving of any recognition you can give him."

Meanwhile, Valarie Webster, Operation Manager at Martelli Enterprises, says: "If you want the best sewing machine for the money, we are a Certified Sales and Service Center for Janome Sewing Machines, accessories, and software - a full line of sewing machines and related sewing products for quilting, embroidery, and other sewing needs."

September is National Sewing Month. To celebrate this, Martelli Enterprises wants to encourage people to make crayon roll-ups, and present those to the Favor House and Ronald McDonald House. Staff at the company are already working on it, and the company is encouraging people in the community to do the same.

The company has also recently added a sewing cutting table to their offerings. This will help in sewing and quilting projects. Mainly, they hope that it will make it possible for more people to become nominated for their monthly Quirky Quilter Angel award. Nominations can be made through the company's website.
