Sunrise, FL – Marina Medical announced the addition of a new wireless endoscopic camera to its product line giving surgeons access to a clear video stream in ENT, Gynecological and Aesthetics procedures.  This innovative wireless camera is the first compact digital endoscopic camera on the market that works with rigid and flexible endoscopes to provide high precision video and still images.

Combined with Marina Medical’s wide range of accessories, such as a wireless light source, hysteroscopic sheaths and sinuscopes, this camera is adaptable to many needs.  Besides examinations, it can be used for teaching and Electronic Medical Records in addition to patient education. 

Operating rooms benefit from the elimination of wires which can become a safety risk and interfere with visibility in examinations and procedures.  Because the video and images can be fed to different types of monitors or a computer, it can be integrated with existing equipment.

The wireless feature eliminates problematic cables that create added tension and restrict surgeon mobility. Video can be streamed to a computer or television where the video or still images can be recorded. This wireless camera is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery that lasts 3.5 hours. Video streams at 30 frames per second. The lens goes up to 100x digital magnification and provides up to 35x native optical magnification.   Its lightweight form factor gives surgeons the best mobility and the accompanying software makes it easy to use.
