July 03, 2015 - PRESSADVANTAGE -
I Should Be Meditating, a mindfulness instruction organization from Sacramento, CA, is proud to announce that they are launching the second series of their popular podcast. This podcast comes with various guided meditations. The focus is on mindfulness meditation. It is hoped that more people will be able to enjoy living "in the now" thanks to these tools.
"I want to teach everybody what Mindfulness is all about", says Alan Klima from I Should Be Meditating. "In the meantime, comments are enabled on the website and people can go to any podcast episode and leave a question for me and I'll answer it. While we wait for Season 2 we can talk right now on the website, and any comment or question will be like a vote telling me they want more."
Mindfulness is about living in the here and now. It is about understanding that the only truth is the present. The past has gone and while it has shaped our presence, it can no longer been changed. Meanwhile, the future hasn't happened yet and focusing too much on what it could bring means that people are unable to experience the present to its fullest.
Through Mindfulness, people start to learn how to experience the "now" of every moment in their life. Be that taking a shower, having something to eat, walking the dog or going to work, they learn how to experience that moment with every cell of their body, as well as their soul. The podcasts are designed to help people learn mindfulness meditation, which is a great place to get started on the path towards mindfulness.
"During the first season of my podcasts, I ran a range of different guided meditations to help people focus on certain elements of their life", adds Alan Klima. "It's been difficult producing the show by myself, but now I have help. I intend to release weekly podcasts once again, and these can then be discussed through the Facebook community."
The I Should Be Meditating Facebook community can be found on https://www.facebook.com/IshouldbeMeditating Here, people can discuss past podcasts, as well as make suggestions in terms of what they would like to see next. It is also an opportunity to simple share ideas and knowledge not just with Klima, but also with other people who have embraced meditation and mindfulness. The goal of the page is to provide a space without judgment where people can discuss their struggles and successes in terms of meditation.
It is expected that the second series of the podcast will be as popular as the first. Indeed, the Facebook community is buzzing with activity in anticipation.
