LOS ANGELES, California –– As a result of their recent sale, Coop Home Goods has donated $1,000 to Friends for Life, an animal nonprofit organization based in Houston, TX. The company committed to donating three percent of their profits from their Coop Friday sale to the nonprofit.
“We don’t want to forget about our animal friends during the holiday season, so we’re proud to be supporting the hard work of everyone at Friends for Life,” said Jin Chon, co-founder of Coop Home Goods.
The contribution will make an immediate impact in the lives of animals in the Friends for Life program, including the animals at their no-kill shelter, the Don Sanders Adoption Center. Living by the motto “Every animal matters”, the majority of the animals adopted at their shelter are deemed “unadoptable” at other shelters.
“Friends for Life is setting a high standard for animal shelters, and we hope that the bright, open environment they provide their shelter animals and their no-kill policy inspire other shelters to follow suit,” Chon said.
