DSB Products of Keller, TX has recently launched their new silicone cupcake, muffin, and quiche pan. Since its release, Amazon customers have done nothing but rave about the product. Numerous five star reviews have been left by customers on the product page for this baking pan in Amazon's marketplace.
One customer in particular was more than satisfied. "We've had this muffin/quiche pan for three days and have made "breakfast muffins" (egg, veggies, & cheese - mini-quiches, in fact) and 'granola cups' (moist granola recipe pressed down into cups and baked - wonderful filled with fruit & yogurt) and banana muffins (from a classic banana bread recipe.) All turned out very well. We bake in a toaster/convection oven and I was a bit afraid that the silicon might be a problem since baking pans are closer to the elements than they would be in a regular-size oven. No problem at all! I'm still half expecting the silicon to melt from the heat, but I'm amazed and impressed with this new technology." D.S. Barnett of DSB Products had this to say about the review: "We're just so pleased that our cupcake pan is such a hit! We knew when we released it that it's a quality product, but the reviews have just been overwhelming."
The cupcake pan, made of silicone, is part of the Happy Cook kitchen product line by DSB Products. The company sells products through Amazon, the first of which was the silicone cupcake pan. The pan is a 12-cup muffin/cupcake pan which makes the standard size cupcakes or muffins that are common to typical metal pans. The pan is a vibrant purple color which does not rust, stain, or discolor like metal pans. Silicone is used for bakeware because of its non-stick properties and is a flexible material that can peel away from baked items, and the baker can push the muffin out of the pan from the bottom of each cup.
Other products in the Happy Cook product line are set to be released later this year and will also be available on the Amazon marketplace. Customers can purchase the cupcake pan at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XTJGEGI.
"The really wonderful part is the clean-up. Having spent (it seems) half of my life bent over a sink attacking metal pans with steel wool trying to get the burnt-on crude to release its grip, I'm relishing the joys of being able to load the batter directly into the pan secure in the knowledge that there will be NO scrubbing afterwards. Just swish it in sudsy water and it's a done deal," says the reviewer.
