Pensacola Chiropractor honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

Pensacola, Fla. – A Pensacola Chiropractor, Dr. Edwin Roberts, Sr., was honored on April 13, 2019, with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Florida Chiropractic Association, Inc. at their annual convention. Dr. Roberts is a second-generation chiropractor, currently in his 36th year of active practice. His son, Dr. Edwin Roberts Jr., joined the family practice in 2006.

With a passion for sports, Dr. Roberts completed his undergraduate studies at Nicholls State University while on a football scholarship in 1979. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in 1983 and became a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association since 1982.

Additionally, Dr. Roberts has served as Escambia High School’s team physician since 1983 and is also a member of the Escambia High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Throughout the years he has been honored for his athletic and professional contributions to his community.

The American Chiropractic Association featured Dr. Roberts in their national publication, ACA Today magazine, for his achievements in the area of sports injuries of professional athletics. The story highlighted Dr. Roberts and NFL Hall of Famer, Emmitt Smith, and was distributed to chiropractors across the USA for use in their own practices.

Dr. Roberts private practice, A Chiropractic Tradition, has been helping patients for many years and specializes in the treatment of sports injuries, car accident injuries, and is a certified DOT physician.

Dr. Roberts is a pillar in his community and a founding father of the Coastal Conservation Association. He was awarded State conservationists by the Florida Conservation Association in 2001. He has been a member of the Downtown Pensacola Rotary Club for 30 years and is a recipient of the Paul Harris Medal of Honor. He was also selected by the Pensacola Sports Association as Sportsman of the Year in 2000.
