Join Comfort Keepers Saturday, September 14th from 7am-10am in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at City Park in Denver. All funds raised through Walk to End Alzheimer's further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Registration will open at 7am followed by a ceremony at 9am, and the 2-mile leisurely walk around City Park will commence immediately following the ceremony. There are already over 3,400 participants and 600 teams registered for the Denver walk who have raised a combined $779,189 for the cause. There is no registration fee, each walker is encouraged to make their own personal donation and to help in raising funds for Alzheimer’s research.
The team at Comfort Keepers of Castle Rock is dedicated to helping those in need of assistance and will be walking on Saturday to support the research and fight to end the disease. Comfort Keepers of Castle Rock is a leader in Senior in-home care that offers a wide array of services including Alzheimer’s and dementia care to seniors who wish to stay in the comfort of their home and still receive the personalized attention and care they need. There is not currently a cure to Alzheimer’s, which is the most common cause of dementia which causes memory loss and decline in cognitive ability that can severely interfere with day to day life. Alzheimer’s primarily effects people 65 and older and is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States.
