E.T. International Consulting, a New Buffalo, Michigan company, has launched a Kindle edition credit repair book on Amazon. The book is designed to aid consumers in repairing credit, without spending thousands of dollars on attorney's fees or going through bankruptcy to get a clean slate.
"Repairing your credit and increasing your credit score is not difficult to do," states Bridgette Swanson of E.T. International Consulting. "There are so many credit repair secrets that most consumers know nothing about."
Many consumers don't know the secrets to repairing credit, at least, not the secrets to effectively and easily repairing credit. Studies show that more than half or nearly 60 percent of American consumers have a credit score that is lower than average. In other words, most American consumers have derogatory remarks or accounts on their credit reports, and many have no idea how to remove them.
Credit repair books, such as "Credit Repair for Dummies", have recently become popular as more and more consumers are striving to increase their scores and live debt free. "Repair Your Credit and Increase Your Score Fast" was written to provide consumers aggressive techniques that they can do themselves in order to increase their credit score and improve overall credit.
The book comes with sample letters that consumers can use to enhance their scores. Letters, such as "pay for delete" letters, can help consumers to reach an agreement with creditors. A pay for delete letter is designed so that consumers can get derogatory accounts off their credit reports. The letter is sent out as an agreement to pay a debt. In return for payment, the creditor must agree to remove the account from the three major credit bureaus, which generally results in a higher credit score for the consumer.
There are a number of other strategies that consumers can use to rid their credit reports of collection accounts and other negative factors. "People just don't know what to do," says financial advisor Tiffany L. "They resort to bankruptcy many times when there are better ways of cleaning up their scores. They just need a push in the right direction."
