shaftless home elevatorsWizco Construction, based in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, has announced that they are offering home fixtures that can be useful for people with limited mobility, such as Elevate Tubs and in-home elevators. The Elevate Tub has a surgical steel heavy duty frame and acrylic finish. Those who want to use it will simply sit down and swing into it, rather than step in. It can accommodate those who use walkers or wheelchairs and other people who have limited mobility and other physical problems. A special feature of the Elevate Tub is that it can drain in 10 to 15 seconds. This ensures that the person using the tub can be out of the tub and dry in just a short time. Its front opening permits easy access to and from the tub. It has a battery backup so that the user can still drain the tub in the event that there is no power.

Jim Wiznerowicz, co-owner of Wizco Construction, says, “We offer products that can help people with limited mobility in the home. Installation of the Elevate Tub will take around 3 to 5 days. We will only use licensed plumbers and electricians from the local area in order to install the bathtub in compliance with state codes. We will also consult with the municipality to ensure that we will be able to get the required permits before the installation. Once the bathtub is in, we will finish the walls with a solid surface panel that has been designed primaryily for bathrooms.”

The seat height for the Elevate Tub is ADA-compliant and a person with limited mobility can easily open the front panel, which requires less than a pound of pressure. The person who will use the bathtub will then simply sit down and swing into the tub. This tub features Chroma therapy, air jets, heated backrest, onboard computers, battery backup, acrylic finish, surgical stainless steel construction, self-cleaning/drying jets, and a drain that only requires 10 to 15 seconds to empty the tub. It is also environmentally-friendly because it only requires 27 to 42 gallons of water, making it unnecessary to upgrade the water heating system.

Meanwhile, the company also offers shaftless home elevators, which are considered to be safer and much easier to use compared to a stair lift. This is important because people with limited mobility have a high risk of falling down when they have to walk up or down the stairs. The presence of a home elevator prevents such an accident from happening. It also makes it easy to carry the laundry, groceries, and other items from the ground floor to the upper floor.

Wizco Construction has already completed several shaftless home elevator projects in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Previous customers have expressed their satisfaction about the work done by the company. For instance, Gerry and Sharon said, “Thank you! For your excellent advance work in preparing for the new elevator. If the elevator had a voice, I think it would be red-faced – embarrassed – if its operation could be compared to your efforts. Over and above, beyond the call, super-able and friendly. There really aren’t the superlatives to capture our gratitude! It’s wonderful to be reminded that there is still quality out there!”

Gary and Julie said, “It was definitely a blessing for us to get to know you and Jim. You’re both very classy people, of high integrity and that goes a long ways with us. As I frequently say, 'I don’t believe in coincidences.' This wonderful project is filled with no coincidences. Praise God!”

Jim Wiznerowicz has always been interested in construction since he was a boy. He worked as an excavator, general contractor, and mason contractor in the 1970s. It was in 1984 that he founded his contracting business, which became Wizco Construction LLC. He had married Luanne in 1983. Luanne, who worked in health care and management for 30 years, later joined Jim in his business.
