SeboCalm Introduces Skin Care Line for Sensitive Skin on Amazon

SeboCalm, based in Or Yehuda, Israel, has announced that they are introducing their sensitive skin care line. It was developed by two pharmacists back in 1990 when they realized many people needed something for sensitive and redness prone skin. Thus, all of the products in the line, like a redness relief face moisturizer, are hypoallergenic and have been dermatologically tested for sensitive skin. They are surfactants, which means they cause frothy lather to be produced, making it easier to remove dirt, oil, and other chemical from the face or skin. This is usually in the form of sodium lauryl sulfate or SLS and is generally considered to be a safe ingredient of cosmetic products. The problem is that they could be too effective in removing oil from the skin, leaving it dry and brittle. Plus, people with sensitive skin cannot tolerate them.

With regards to parabens, these are included in skincare products not for their cleansing effects. These are non-natural chemicals and are added to act as preservatives or to make the product have a much longer shelf life. Studies have shown that parabens can cause allergic reactions, an increase in estrogen production, premature aging, and possible interference with the endocrine system. Parabens have been observed to have the ability to deeply penetrate the skin and interfere with the normal functioning of the hormones.
