Gourmante Introduces Nutritionist Dietician and Other Key Company Members

Gourmante, a Greek nutritional and wellness products provider, would like people to get to know their key staff members. Company Founder, Dimitris Paraskevopoulos, says he feels this is a great way to give people confidence in the products that their company sells. Paraskevopoulos noted that the key personnel involved in creating and distributing the company’s products all have strong backgrounds in their respective fields.

The Greek-born founder and entrepreneur started off the introductions with himself by saying, “I came up with the idea for the Gourmante product line and I handle promotional and other business aspects of the company. I was fortunate to attend the elite Cass Business School in London. It taught me to think outside the box and not be afraid to take chances.”

He says another important team member is Dr. Michel Georges Magouritsas who obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmacy in 1983 from Ferrara University in Italy. After spending many years in the Pharmaceutical industry, he eventually became known for starting several companies that specialized in herbal medicinal products.

Paraskevopoulos says they also have a very experienced nutritionist on their staff. She is New York-born and raised Annamaria Louloudis who holds a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science from prestigious New York University. Her residency alone encompassed over 1200 hours of working as a dietic nutritionist.

He added that helping him with the business end of the company is Greek-born Frosso Ghika. She is the company’s logistics and purchasing director. Ghika has some 30 years’ experience working in this capacity for various companies. Twenty of which have been food or nutritional supplement related businesses.

Paraskevopoulos also described how he first came up with the idea for the company’s wellness products by saying, “The product came about as an idea that my partners and I had after first traveling around the olive groves of Greece, Spain, and Italy. We came across several people along the way that talked about how people in the area believed they were healthier because they followed a Mediterranean lifestyle. This included consuming a decent amount of olives that are found naturally growing in abundance in the area. I then started doing research on olives and other Mediterranean ingredients to see if other professionals thought they might have some health benefits. What I found out inspired me to talk to some people that might be interested in a joint venture with me and before you knew it, Gourmante soon became a reality.”
