With All My Art, an Ocala FL based art studio, is pleased to announce that the next season of classes will begin in February of 2020. Both kids and adults have enjoyed their previous classes, so the art school has decided to expand and offer more options for students of every skill level. The classes are aimed at helping their students develop and improve their skills as artists, presenting an opportunity for both adults and children to develop their passion for art.
The art school offers a number of classes for different ages and skill levels. Those just starting out as artists can begin with Drawing I, a fun introduction to studio art that helps beginners understand the most important fundamentals of drawing along with other basic principles that they can develop in the future as artists. In Drawing I, students learn concepts like shapes, shading, dimension and perspective, which form the fundamentals of art. They will also gain lots of experience in sketching and basic graphing. This class, as the most basic class where all fundamentals are taught, is a prerequisite for other classes, but students can show a portfolio of artwork if they have prior experience. The instructors will determine whether or not they can move on to other classes.
Drawing II, the more advanced class, is aimed at more advanced students. “This 3-month session of 12 classes is perfect for those who want to take their drawing skills to the professional level,” says the school. “They will study advanced graphing and sketching techniques, conservative anatomy, still life, landscapes, and more! In addition to instructional projects, students will complete a frameable piece of artwork with a subject of their choice. They will be working on this over the course of the sessions.”
Some students desire instruction in more specific mediums, so With All My Art! offers classes for those looking to learn about pastels, watercolors, oil painting and acrylics. Each medium allows artists to express themselves in different and unique ways, and the school offers lessons on how to use each one correctly. An art piece can look significantly different depending on what is used to create it—With All My Art! has separate classes for anyone looking to learn all the ways in which each may be used.
The school also offers special days where students can learn about other unique methods of producing art, such as charcoal and ink. “Students can come for a whole day to learn the ins and outs of these diverse types of art,” says the school. “By the end, they will complete a frameable piece of artwork with a subject of their choice.”
The art school is run by Emilie and Benjamin Swanson, who are both highly qualified art instructors. Emilie has, over the years, been fortunate enough to study under some very distinguished professionals in the world of art. She completed a college-level course of art study and has received numerous awards in local and national art competitions. She enjoys sharing her love and passion for art with people of all ages in Ocala, Florida.
Benjamin Swanson has also studied under distinguished professionals in the field of art and completed a college level course in art. He has previous experience as a homeschool art teacher. He has a strong passion for writing and illustrating children’s books and similarly loves sharing his love for producing different types of art with the people he meets.
