Walk-in Dermatology Adds Carmen Castilla, MD, FAAD, and Taryn Huizenga, MD to its Greenvale, NY Team

NASSAU COUNTY, NEW YORK – Walk-in Dermatology announced that Taryn Huizenga, MD and Carmen Castilla, MD, FAAD, have joined the Walk-in Dermatology team in its Greenvale, New York location.

Dr. Carmen Castilla is a board-certified dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatology Society, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Castilla graduated with a B.S. from New York University and an M.D. from Rutgers Medical School. She performed her internship in internal medicine at Harvard Brigham and Women’s Hospital and completed her dermatology residency at New York University. Dr. Castilla specializes in cosmetic and medical dermatology and is seeing patients in-person and via Walk-in Dermatology’s Video Visit telehealth service.

Dr. Taryn Huizenga is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Huizenga earned her B.S. from Michigan State University and her M.D. from Wayne State University. She performed her internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and her residency in dermatology at Wayne State University. She has published articles in Dermatologic Surgery and the American Journal of Dermatopathology. Dr. Huizenga specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
