IP phone retailer Synergy Telcom, which is based in Indianapolis, IN, has announced that they have recently purchased several thousand Spectralink 6020 phones. The Spectralink 6020 is wireless landline phone and is popular in industries where staff have to go to various locations, such as in hospitals and manufacturing companies. Customers are encouraged to get in touch with Synergy Tel as soon as possible, as supply is limited. Spectralink has stopped producing the phone although it still supports it.

"We believe this is the best phone of its kind on the market today, which is why it is already flying off the shelves. One of the reasons why the phone, which is also know as the Spectralink LBT100 wireless phone, is attractive to certain customers is because it functions as a wireless landline. This means that, while they will connect to the office landline, employees can carry the phone around with them. This is particularly beneficial for larger offices, warehouses, hospitals, and other similar buildings.
"We have used the Spectralink 6020 in our community clinic for quite some time now," says Dr. Weding from rural Indiana. "It has enabled us to look after our patients without having to man a desk at the same time, as we could just take the phone with us."
Unfortunately, Spectralink recently announced the 'end of life' on the 6020 model. This means that no new units will be produced, although they will continue to offer support.
