Henderson Orthodontist Gives Back To Community

Dr. Matthew Wirig of Wirig Orthodontics in Henderson, Nevada is currently looking for ways to donate to his community. Dr. Wirig, a philanthropist, donates on a regular basis and is searching for opportunities that will benefit children. Several schools in the Henderson area have already benefited from the generosity shown by Dr. Wirig over the years, and he is actively looking to sponsor additional schools, sports teams, and charities in the area.

A spokesperson for Wirig Orthodontics stated, "Dr. Wirig is known for being generous and is even giving away his car to one of his patients. He just believes in giving back." The car being given away by Dr. Wirig is a 2008 Mercedes Benz that has served as Dr. Wirig's personal car. His staff at Wirig Orthodontics were able to convince the orthodontist to give away his car, according to the practice's website. The only requirements for entry into the car giveaway is to be a patient at Wirig Orthodontics and refer someone to the practice. The drawing will be held at the end of August, 2016.

Dr. Wirig has created a concept he calls PIE, which stands for "Positive Impact on Everyone". PIE is a part of his core philosophy and serves as a reminder to him, his staff, patients, and others around them that life is about giving to others and finding ways to make the world a better place through kind actions, service, and other acts of charity.

Wirig has donated to area schools and various other organizations over the years. A graduate of the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine and specialty training in orthodontics, and has been serving patients in Las Vegas since 2008 when he finished his residency.

"I just want to pay it forward," stated Dr. Wirig. "I want to create positive impact in the world starting here in our community. That's why I want to donate to organizations that focuses on supporting the children in Henderson and the surrounding areas."

Wirig Orthodontics has two orthodontic offices in Nevada, one in Henderson and one in Las Vegas. The practice serves Orthodontic patients of all ages and offers a variety of services including braces and Invisalign - Also known as invisible braces.
