New Online Business Directory Services Launched

My Local Services, a business based in Alcester, Warwickshire, UK, has announced the launching of their online business directory services. "We wanted to launch a directory that follows all the elements that we know are popular online, but adds something else to it as well," says Steve Richardson from My Local Services. In addition, we also allow businesses to post events, and we have included a business forum. This is something new that we feel will be of great benefit to businesses and customers all over the country."

The business forum in particular has been very popular. Various subjects have been opened up for discussion and these are considered to be beneficial for starting businesses that are looking for things, such as legal assistance, accounting tips, marketing advice, technology, and more. Any topic can be discussed, including those things that have nothing to do directly with businesses.

Similarly, the events page has been very well received. It provides an opportunity for businesses to market themselves and to have specific elements of their business reviewed. "When a business listed on our directory hosts an event, they can ask attendees to say what kind of experiences they had," adds Steve Richardson. "This is like a double marketing tool because a positive review of an event is like a positive review for the entire business."

The new directory has only been listed recently but it has already received many positive reviews. "Responses from customer service are speedy and efficient," says Pat Armstrong. "When I've emailed I've received a quick, polite and efficient response and when I've spoken to people they too are polite, knowledgeable and quickly resolved my issue. This is what customer service should be." Customer service is high on the agenda for My Local Services and they encourage any business to find this out for themselves.
