Charlotte, North Carolina -
Record Storage Systems, a leader in document and information management solutions, was recently awarded a contract to provide document management services through the Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA). The contract was competitively solicited by the City of Charlotte on behalf of itself and local government, school districts, government agencies and non-profit organizations. Record Storage Systems was one of six companies to be awarded the request for proposal, in compliance with the competitive bidding laws in North Carolina.
The new contractual partnership with the CCPA enables Record Storage Systems to provide offsite document storage services, document scanning and digitization services, and document shredding services at a competitive rate, giving organizations who implement the services a cost advantage and significant return on investment.
Record Storage Systems has provided hard copy records management, digital conversion, and document destruction services to public agencies and non-profits since 1985 and has become a statewide leader in record retention best practices and digitization.
“As a Charlotte-based company, we’re proud to support the CCPA and encourage agencies to participate in the contract. The cost advantages of partnering with a local, approved document management provider, along with our personal customer service and complete approach to information management, will help agencies reduce paperwork, save time, and remain compliant,” said Claude Mitchell, Vice President. “We share the CCPA’s mission to provide valuable solutions that align with our clients’ goals for secure records management.”
Participating public agencies will enjoy the benefits associated with Record Storage Systems’ offsite document storage solutions, which include a dedicated client web portal, advanced barcode tracking system, timely record retrievals and deliveries, as well as a scan-on-demand service. As part of the 3-year agreement, quotes for services will reflect the contracted prices as specified in the price schedule of the contract. The partnership enables agencies to utilize data management services that fit their budget, without sacrificing quality or data security.
