Pompano Beach, Fla. – Merritt Marine Supply, one of South Florida’s top marine, aviation and industrial supply concerns for more than 40 years, announced today that it has expanded its website, www.merrittsupply.com.  The updated site includes additional product listings and a “How To” section that offers instructions on essential marine maintenance tasks such as repairing fiberglass, painting, prep and so forth. 

“Whether you’re doing a minor fiberglass repair a complete refit - or even a new build - we have all of the boating supplies to complete the job,” said Travis Seagrave of Merritt Marine Supply.  “Our approach has always been to stock the widest range of products with the greatest possible depth of inventory so you will never have to worry about us being out of stock for any particular boating or aviation repair need you may have.”

The expanded website contains more products and longer descriptions for abrasives, tools, tapes, sundries, safety products, resins and fillers, fiberglass, paints and primers.  Merritt Marine Supply stocks products from such industry-leading brands as Awlgrip, 3M, Divinycell, Sikaflex, West System, and others.

The new “How To” section of the site includes instructional articles on topics like, “Interlux: Gelcoat Blister Prevention System,” “Awlgrip: Proper Surface Cleaning” and “Interlux: Interprotect for Prevention and Repair.” The section also contains the Interlux Boat Painting Guide.  “So many of our customers want to do repairs themselves,” [spokesperson] added.  “We felt that a ‘How To’ section would add value to our overall retail experience.”
