London, UK, OCT 3, 2015 – The country of Kenya is going green with online VISAs or eVISAs. The article discusses how the Kenyan government announced that starting September 1, 2015, which can only be paid for using a debit card online. While available from a booth for those newly arriving in the country's Nairobi airport, visitors should apply for the visa, which is granted within two business days, prior to arrival and avoid the lengthy airport lines.
The compulsory eVisa process will allow visitors to the African country to apply for entry visas in advance online via the dedicated portal at ecitizen.go.ke. The single entry tourist visa to Kenya which costs around £30, is valid for up to three months. This visa allows a re-entry to Kenya from the neighboring countries of Tanzania and Uganda.
The article then points out that 'a national eligible for a Kenyan visa previously is eligible for the eVisa and those considered “Category 3” are not'.
