One Source Media Prints and Installs Wall Wraps for Sakara Life in Queens NY

Queens, NY – September 9, 2021—One Source Media, a New York City vinyl sign shop, announced that it has completed a large interior signage project for Sakara Life’s Long Island City headquarters. Sakara Life is a plant-based, organic meal delivery service, and it wanted some fresh-looking graphics for its warehouse and freezer space.

“We met with the Sakara Life folks and listened to their vision for the space,” says One Source Media owner Brian Miranda. “We immediately got it. Their graphics were so lively that we could just envision how they’d look blown up into large format vinyl signage and installed.”

The One Source Media crew got to work printing the Sakara Life graphics. For the interior warehouse surfaces, OSM printed graphics onto MPI 2630, a calendared vinyl film manufactured by Avery Dennison specifically for wall wrap applications.

For the interiors of Sakara’s large freezers, One Source Media printed the graphics onto PVC boards, which were then mounted to the freezer walls. “In an extremely cold environment,” Miranda explains, “the calendared vinyl wouldn’t adhere properly, which is why we used the PVC boards instead.”

The Sakara wall wraps depict fresh fruits, vegetables, and kitchen settings, creating an ambiance of simplicity and abundance to brighten the workspace for warehouse and freezer staff. “We really enjoyed this project,” says Miranda.

Michael Pittams, Sakara Life facilities manager, said in a subsequent Google review that he was “really happy with our prints,” and noted that One Source Media provided “great quality printing and very helpful and responsive service.”
