Two Young Entrepreneurs Creating Web Design and SEO Jobs In Sheffield

South Yorkshire company Hawkify UK has announced a recent expansion, more than doubling the size of its team.

Hawkify is a Sheffield based web design and digital marketing company and was originally founded by Dan Hawksworth, Managing Director and George Dorman, Operations Director, two students at Sheffield Hallam University in 2013. The turnover and the expansion enabled Hawkify to create five new jobs as a way to manage the influx of new customers while they, along with James Rollings, Marketing Manager continued their studies at Sheffield Hallam University.

Now the major SEO Sheffield company has been creating new jobs throughout the region. In the past five weeks alone they have taken on four new employees: Brett Nockalls, a Senior Technical SEO Consultant; Chris Brain, an experienced Web Developer; and Michael Ravenscroft and Sarah Lewis, two new Marketing and Administrative Assistants.

The company's growth doesn't stop there. Hawkify have also hired Adele Hadfield, a new Office Manager to help manage the business, and are currently in the process of recruiting a sales representative. With an increase in staff, Hawkify also needed to expand their offices and they have just moved into a large new premises in The Workstation, located within the heart of the city next to the Showroom Cinema.

The decision to expand arose from the observation of a rapid increase in turnover and profits, which were indicated in the rise in the total number of clients from just ten to over fifty within less than a year. One of the young founders, Dan Hawksworth, said, "We had a great 6 months with an influx of new customers, but it got to the stage where we couldn't manage all this extra business with such a small team. We decided to expand, pumping the profits straight back into the business to keep this momentum going."
