They made several brave high-water rescues during localized flooding caused by summer storms, implemented a License Plate Reader (LPR) Program, and began to share and receive detections with other Florida agencies to assist with investigations of crimes. They also implemented a Rapid ID Fingerprint program for quicker verification of identities, implemented monthly dashboards that track overdose calls, Narcan deployments, arrests, and high crime hotspots.

The dedication of the law enforcement team to their responsibilities has ensured that lawyers and judges were able to do their duty to their communities to the highest standard as well. They also received the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) grant, two Covid grants (Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding) and COPS the (Community Oriented Policing Services) grant.
