People Can Now Invest Bitcoin In 1 Acre Farm-Lets

November 16, 2015 - PRESSADVANTAGE -

South Pacific Plantation Management Limited, a business in Efate Island, Vanuatu, has recently started to accept bitcoin for 1 acre farm-lets on Malekula, a South Pacific Island within the Republic of Vanuatu. They are working together with CoinJar, an Australian bitcoin payments provider, to achieve this project. Further details are available on the South Pacific Plantations website.

"I am a strong advocate of innovative technology," says Richard Butler, project manager for South Pacific Plantation Management Limited. "Myself and the directors of the company embrace exciting and new ideas readily."

Bitcoin allows the international economy to accept online payments to boost the influx of expats and international investors entering the Republic of Vanuatu, a tax friendly state in the South Pacific that imposes no land tax and no corporate or personal taxation duties.

"It seems fitting that people now start embracing the new currency," says Mr. Butler. "With the recent South Pacific International Communications cable link providing 4G to one of the world's smallest nations and by accepting the bitcoin economy, overseas transactions will be easier to facilitate."

The business is also offering agricultural land development, although many of the developments have already been sold. Non-residential lots include the price of land. Additionally, the farm-lets can be turned into tropical fruit farms with 'paw paw'. Bitcoin is accepted for the full purchase of the land and purchasers will be able to enjoy profits from the sale of the fruits on the international market.

It is believed that the company will also hire some 100 individuals in order to manage the everyday requirements of the farm. This means residents of Malekula Island will be able to enjoy employment and income. As such, investors can see great returns, while also doing great things for the local economy and population. Concept planning will also include an education fund for the farm workers' children. Investors can choose to participate in this project by donating a percentage of the profits they make through the sale of the produce from the farm land. Investors are encouraged to 'like' SPPL on Facebook, as they can find far more information and news there.
