Swift is an innovative and highly successful technology used in the treatment of skin lesions such as stubborn and painful foot warts. It utilizes microwave energy through a specialized probe to target and effectively treat affected tissues. Depending on how an individual’s warts respond to the treatment, Swift will typically resolve skin lesions in just 2-3 treatments.
Plantar warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), which like any other virus, is spread through contact. The nature of HPV makes warts difficult to treat with traditional methods, such as cryotherapy or topical acids, which are often painful and require multiple sessions.
The Swift® device uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver precise, highly controlled microwave energy into the problem area of the skin. This works to stimulate the patient’s body into a healing response and treat the HPV infection at the source. The procedure is a quick, clean, and non-invasive option with little or no recovery time.
