The River Source Publishes Substance Abuse Treatment Outcomes

Arizona City, AZ - Clients who have undergone addiction treatment at The River Source found their risk of substance use declining as their exposure to preventive therapy increased, according to a treatment-outcome assessment released by the Arizona-based program.

The respective factors fell and rose sharply, as shown in The River Source’s Brief Addiction Monitor (BAM) assessment, a multidimensional measurement tool for patients in treatment for substance use disorder. The assessment measures drug and alcohol use, risk factors for substance use, and protective factors that support sobriety.
