Milestone Church Haslet Hosting Middle and High School Annual Spring Retreat

Battle of the Sexes, the annual spring retreat for Middle School and High School students hosted by Elevate, the Student Ministry of Milestone Church in Haslet, TX, is back for another year. Students learn about love, sex, and dating from God's perspective during Battle of the Sexes (BOTS). Throughout this memorable weekend, students can encounter God's freedom and forgiveness and discover their identity in Him. Students also take part in Tribe War competitions, spend the weekend with friends and leaders in small groups, and experience God in unique ways during small group sessions.

Every group will be assigned a team with which to play and compete in a variety of competitive and exciting games. They are referred to as "tribes." Students and leaders are encouraged to wear the color of their tribe during the event and each tribe has a distinctive color and mascot (such as the Blue Hurricanes, etc.).

Middle School and High School students will each have a separate retreat weekend, and both will be held at Lakeview Camp & Retreat Center in Waxahachie, Texas. Students will check in on Friday at 4:30 p.m. at the Milestone Church Keller campus for both weekends and dinner will be provided. The Battle of the Sexes weekend costs $160 per student, and registration is required. All Middle and High School students are welcome to attend and can register on the Milestone Church website.

Elevate Student Ministry wants students to participate as much as they can, even if they can just attend a portion of the event. If a student is arriving late or leaving early from the camp, a time away form that can be found on the Milestone Church website must be completed to organize drop-off and pick-up.
