How to prepare for medical coding certifications via video training
Tampa, FL: Continuing the annual update of her widely known “CPC® Exam Blitz Review Videos”, Laureen Jandroep, CPC, CPC-I, COC, CMSCS, CHCI, CPPM, CCO Founder and CEO, is bringing her team of medical coding education experts to Tampa Florida December 3-8 2015. The event will be held at Studio 2203 in downtown Tampa and is open for in person registration or virtually via live video streaming.
Laureen remarked that "for many years CCO has been helping medical coders pass both the CPC® Exam and most recently the ICD-10 CM proficiency assessment. A CCO Blitz is an intensive review to provide a student with the essentials of what they need to know in order to pass their respective board exams. Content review, exam taking strategy and other tips are shared. We are excited to be developing a much needed HCC Risk Adjustment Coding Course this year as well."
The announcement of the newly named “CCO Blizzard” event will include preparing for the CPC® Exam (CPT exam) as in previous years but also includes two days of ICD-10 CM Training by CCO Education Director Alicia Scott, CPC, CPC-I, CRC. New courses this year also include Inpatient Methodologies (CIC® Blitz) training, Outpatient Methodologies (COC® Blitz) training, and the Risk Adjustment Blitz by CCO Program Director Chandra Stephenson, CPC, CIC, COC, CPB, CPCO, CPMA, CPC-I, CCS, CANPC, CEMC, CFPC, CIMC, CGSC, COSC, CRC.
CCO Education Director Alicia Scott recapped by saying “the first live streaming event for CCO in December of 2014 was so successful that we wanted to do it again and expand the training to an even greater medical coding online audience.”
